Training on Family Therapy

The workshop covers the core concepts and techniques of family therapy, using a mix of creative and interactive teaching methods. Usual goals of family therapy are improving communication, solving family problems, understanding and handling special family situations, and creating a better
functioning home environment. In addition, it also involves: Exploring the interactional dynamics of the family and its relationship to psychopathology.

This workshop is also an opportunity for family workers, health and community practitioners, and individual counsellors/therapists to understand the basic concepts. Non-therapists who wish to learn more about family therapy and human systems can also participate.

For Whom: This training programme will interest the general public, statutory and charitable practitioners including social workers, occupational therapists, counsellors, psychologists and medical practitioners.
