CAN MH Lanka -Mental Health For All: A Webinar Series
Universal Health Coverage means that everyone, everywhere, should be able to access the health services they need without suffering financial hardship.
But today we are still faced with a huge coverage gap of care and services for common mental health conditions, reaching up to 90% in some low-income countries. Even where services are available, they are not necessarily rights-based and cost-effective.
So what more needs to be done to integrate mental health into plans for Universal Health Coverage? And what are some of the challenges we face?
Our next Mental Health For All webinar on 30th November will discuss these questions and more, as we explore the importance of Universal Health Coverage in Mental Health.
