Alexandria Senanayake
Alexandria took a break from corporate life in early 2016 to pursue her personal interests in health and wellness. This led her to an intensive training retreat in Tabanan, Bali to further develop her own yoga practice and ended with her quest to learn more about her other passion – CrossFit. Two years later, a qualified RYT 200-hr Yoga and CrossFit Kids coach, she looks forward to developing the ladies and kids offerings at CFCY to create a truly excellent fitness program for all ages and genders. In her new role heading operations at CFCY, Alexi will juggle coaching with making sure our beloved box runs like a well-oiled Concept 2 rower.

Keshini Vitharana

Director of The Om Space, Serena teaches both general level Hatha classes and Sivananda style classes as well as yoga for pregnancy and Yoga for children. Serena’s journey began in 1998 with many hours spent at the Sivananda Ashram in West London, completing their Yoga 1, 2, and 3 courses as well as workshops in Kirtan, courses in Meditation, and Sanskrit and weekends spent at Satsung and doing Karma yoga for the Ashram. She qualified as a British Wheel of Yoga teacher in 2005.

Dhivya Sivanesan
Dhivya came to acupuncture after a 10-year career in international development and political analysis. Her first qualification was a bachelor's degree from the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) in 2015 and then went on to join the Xinglin Institute as a student in 2016. The following year, she shifted her London-based practice to Sri Lanka where she has set up her permanent clinic. Combining the skills and knowledge of her previous career, her current interests are directed towards setting up volunteer acupuncture projects in countries that have been affected by conflict, and establishing the first classical acupuncture college in Colombo.

Dulani Wijethunge
Dulani first got to experience Zumba fitness when she was a student in Australia. In addition to getting addicted to Zumba, she thoroughly enjoyed coaching it to others, hence, decided to get her ZIN license in the year 2013. After her return to Sri Lanka in 2013, she decided to venture her passion into a business opportunity. She understood it is an ideal fitness workout for many Sri Lankans and discovered a very high market demand. She opened her first fitness studio in Maharagamma with only 3 students. Thanura Abeywardena
Thanura has been a competitive athlete for over 10 years where he has represented Sri Lanka in water polo and swimming. He is a Sports Scientist by profession with many years of experience in training the State Junior (20 & under) Soccer teams, as a rehabilitation specialist and a high-performance coach. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Health (Sports Science) from the University of Western Australia and is currently reading for a Masters degree in Exercise Rehabilitation, Strength and Conditioning from the Univerity of Staffordshire.

Nare Bandaranayake
Nare is a certified IBBFA Barre instructor and is a Balanced Body Institute Pilates instructor. Furthermore, she specializes in post-rehabilitation, pre-rehabilitation, and special population Pilates working with clients with injuries, diseases, and special conditions (e.g. pregnancy). Additionally, Nare holds a BSc in Neuroscience from King's College London and a Masters in Finance from the University of Cambridge. She uses low-impact techniques to tone your body along with a high cardio routine. She has captained the junior national basketball team for Sri Lanka. As a coach and motivator, she is currently conducting workshops with schools, national teams, and the corporate sector.

James Jones
James was the youngest person in the UK to open a CrossFit facility back in 2010. Currently, he is the only Level 3 Certified CrossFit Trainer in the whole of Asia, holds a CrossFit Mobility cert, Attitude Nation Weightlifting Level 1, Certified Gymnastic Bodies Athlete, and Precision Nutrition Level 1. As well as personal training and nutrition consultation, James also loves to do one-to-one skills training whether muscle-ups, handstands, backflips, or the human flag pole! You’ll find James on the beaches of Kalpitiya working as a senior trainer & Calisthenics specialist at The BNKR gym and CrossFit Kalpitiya.

Vikum Kodituwakku
Vik is a Personal Trainer and Sports Performance coach from the UK. He has 10 plus years of experience being a fitness professional, worked with athletes in tennis, rugby, and football and hundreds of clients, and developed and coached other trainers in the industry. In 2018 he took his experience and approach to performance-driven training and designed his own concept to launch his very own studio in London named Onyx.
